DOMINICAN YUCA FRITTERS (AREPITAS DE YUCA)

Dominican Yuca Fritters, known as Arepitas de Yuca, are usually served as a side at meals.

Peel and grate yuca.

The ingredients needed for these fritters include Mazola Corn Oil, butter, beaten egg, anise seed, oregano, salt, and sugar.

Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the yuca mixture into hot oil, turn over once golden on one side. About 2 to 3 minutes.

Remove from the pan and drain on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess grease.
