Ingredients

  • 24 chicken wings, cut in 3 and tip discarded renders 48 pieces
  • 2 20 oz jars of Claussen Dill pickles in the refrigerated section
  • 1 tbs olive oil
  • 2 tbs adobo

Instructions

  • Cut chicken wings in 3 pieces and discard the tip. I usually rinse each wing after I cut it.
  • Place the wings in a bowl.
  • Strain the pickle juice in a large cup or over the wings with a strainer. Because the pickles are in the jar, this is helpful. I put the pickles back in the jar and used them to make fried pickles.
  • Cover and brine for 5 hours, 3 hours minimum. You can brine longer for a stronger pickle taste.
  • When ready, place wings on a paper towel lined large baking sheet and pat them dry with more paper towels.
  • Once done patting dry. Place in a dry large bowl.
  • Sprinkle olive oil and adobo. Mix well.
  • Air fry at 425º degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Turn the wings over, air fry another 25 minutes or until the wings are nice and golden.
