Cauliflower Potato Mash

Easy and absolutely delicious mash

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cauliflower florets or pearls (meaning already chopped and packaged)
  • 2-1/2 lbs russet potatoes
  • 1/4 cup butter or to taste
  • 1/4 cup milk or to taste
  • salt to taste for boiling potatoes

Instructions

  • In a deep saucepan add butter under low/medium heat and as it begins to melt, add cauliflower and sauté. Stir frequently until tender. About 10 minutes.
  • In the meantime, peel potatoes and cut them in half or 4 pieces if large. Boil them until tender.
  • When both are done cooking, mash the potatoes and add the cauliflower. Mix together well.
  • Serve with beef, chicken, pork, etc.
