Easy Beef Tostadas, Tacos and Lettuce Cups

These Beef Tostadas are one of the easiest and tastiest foods you’ll ever make. So easy to cook and extremely customizable as you can see in my YouTube video. You can put this beef on corn or flour tortillas and even lettuce! I prefer butter lettuce, also called Boston lettuce. It is very tender and goes perfect topped with the beef.

When I entertain i love to make this recipe because I can make it about an hour ahead and let it stay warm in the slow cooker in the “warm’ setting. A win win!

Beef Tostadas

Ingredients

3 lbs 85% ground beef
3 tbs lime juice
3 tbs soy sauce
2 tbs minced garlic
3 tablespoon Goya Adobo
1/2 tbs ground oregano
1/2 teaspoon cilantro (I used semi dried for this recipe)
2 tablespoons Goya Salad Olives and a bit of the juice
8 oz can Tomato Sauce

Directions

In a heavy bottom pan, add beef. Immediately add lime juice, soy sauce, adobo, oregano, and garlic. Mix well and begin to brown. Once the beef is brown and still has moisture, add salad olives and tomato sauce. Mix well and allow beef to continue to cook stirring frequently until totally the liquid is gone and the beef is more greasy. During this add the cilantro.

Additional Ingredients:
Tostadas, tortillas and Boston lettuce
Shredded taco cheese for topping
Fresh Salsa for topping
Avocado or Guacamole for topping
Lime wedges for topping
Fresh Cilantro for topping
And whatever your heart desires!
