Pulled Pork Sliders
The last recipe I posted was of my delicious Dominican Pernil (Pulled Pork). That recipe renders so much meat (we are just 4) that I decided to use the leftovers to create a couple of easy, quick recipes to repurpose them with.
This is the first one, Pulled Pork Sliders! They were our lunch the day after I made the Pernil (Pulled Pork), which I had served with the mandatory rice and beans. Sorry, can’t help it!
I made sure to give the Pernil (Pulled Pork) a whole different flavor and boy did I do that!
Remember… I seasoned the pork butt with my Dominican Sazón, so be sure to use that to season yours.
Ingredients:
Leftover Dominican Pernil (Pulled Pork) see post
8 Slider buns
Cheddar cheese slices, split into 2 squares
Dill pickles
¼ cup butter
1 tbs cilantro chopped
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ᴼ degrees.
Split the slider in half.
Place about 1 ½ tbs pulled pork on the bottom side of the slider.
Place one of the ¼ cheddar cheese slices on top of the pork.
Top with one Dill pickle.
Place the top half bun on top.
In a deep bowl, add butter. Microwave until melted, then add chopped cilantro.
Mix well and brush over the sliders.
Bake for 12 minutes and enjoy!
