Pulled Pork Toast

Another recipe made with my leftover Dominican Pernil (Pulled Pork)!

Simple, and oh so tasty! The tartness of the bbq sauce combined with the pork and avocado is out of this world delicious!

Ingredients:

Leftover pulled pork
1 French or Italian baguette, sliced in about 1-inch thick rounds
Butter or spray butter, olive oil to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
BBQ sauce to taste
2 avocados, chopped
Cilantro, chopped and to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375ᴼ degrees.

Spread butter (or spray) to taste on to the bread rounds. Both sides.

Sprinkle with the desired amount of garlic powder on top side.

Bake for about 8 minutes each side or until the edges turn golden.

Spread about 1 tsp BBQ sauce on each round or to taste.

Place desired amount of pulled pork.

Top with desired amount of avocado.

Top with desired amount of chopped cilantro.
